Third time lucky

I keep trying to write a summary of the year just passing. There've been a lot of new experiences and I've done a lot to be proud of, but what it all boils down to, I think, is this:


I've learned to be kind to myself.

That is an excellent thing to learn. More people should learn it. I should learn it!

It took a lot of help - two goes through counselling (neither of which I expected to have anything like this effect - I hadn't really realised it was a problem!) and getting lucky with meeting the right people at the right time. Good luck with learning yourself.
