Panettone-marmalade bread & butter pudding

The Internet informs me that I am not the first person to think of this (which does not surprise me very much).

I want to make it, though. I so want to make it. And drizzle lemon-orange syrup over it. And maybe include lumps of really dark chocolate.

It needs something green as well - basil is wrong in this context, but something to lighten it. Though if I used a green-something I would probably have to nix the chocolate.
