London crashspace sought

kaberettI mi-i-ight (somewhere in the region of 50% likely, and will be definite one way or the other by the end of this week) be looking for crashspace Somewhere In London on the night of Tuesday 23rd. I can show up whenever, and have things to be doing at Wednesday lunchtime. I don't promise sparkling conversation, but I fold up small, give good hugs, and will gleefully collaborate on cooking adventures (and indeed will bring a bottle of wine if given suitably precise instructions). Any takers? :-)

Date: 2012-04-10 06:26 pm (UTC)Bob and I are both out that night (at a thing for meeting local people so am unsure about taking guests along), but you would be welcome to come and stay over anyway, as long as you arrive before we need to go out (probably 6pmish?). I can give you a key in case you want to go out; alternatively, you can raid the cupboards and cook yourself something.
So I can offer crashspace but not company...

Date: 2012-04-10 08:57 pm (UTC)Thank you lots and lots for the offer - I have below been offered company also, and I think would probably feel a bit nervous rattling around someone else's [unfamiliar] house alone -- but I will hopefully be coming down to London a bit more often in the next few months, and will try to time at least *some* of it to coincide with your food outings/other social time :-)
