Dropped vitD from 20000iu/week to 5600iu/week in mid-Jan. Next bloods due mid-April. When I started supplementation my brainwrong got massively better within 2-3 weeks.
Over the past 2-3 weeks I've started going Wrong again. I've had three days of Not Getting Out Of Bed in the last week or so; sharp uptick in intrusive thoughts of SI/non-existence; drop-off in my ability to believe I'm any use to anyone ever; sleep cycle's over the past week or so started shifting back towards "2am-whenever" (I was getting semi-stable at 11pm bedtimes); PHQ-9 was a 14 when I did it last week (and I decided this was ~just fatigue~ rather than the fatigue being, you know, a symptom); I'm moving more slowly and my executive function's pretty well non-existent; everything is slow and difficult.
I have no idea whether it's plausible for my vitD levels to have fallen off a cliff again this quickly; it's the obvious thing-that-changed. I am trying to work out whether to bump the repeat bloods up to end-of-March rather than mid-April. Scared of doing them any sooner in case it makes my GP cross (though generally he trusts me on this stuff, and when I asked about rechecking bloods last week I didn't mention I was going mad because I wasn't, really, at the time, or perhaps more accurately I hadn't noticed).
