For Shawn it is at full-distrust. For a random classmate it is neutral. For a random stranger on the street it is bound to the "might steal my expensive graphing calculator" slider. Here is the slider for "will use my distress to hurt me". For a close friend who has been helpful in the past, it is trusting. For the relative who has hurt me in the past it is at full distrust. The random stranger in the street may well be at "will probably Think Uncharitable Thoughts" which might work out to Mild Distrust.
