Ha. One of my old offices didn't have windows, they built the entire block inside a hangar, and there were days I had a better idea what the weather was in Seattle (because my friend seconded out there did have windows) than six feet beyond the wall in Rochester.

We used to have a poster outside the door of the basement lab where I did my PhD depicting our cartoon drawings of the beautiful, inaccessible world outside.

I don't think my supervisor entirely approved...
