kaberettThe shot I was most pleased with from last trip in early October: three lilypads in a row, in different colours.
Also from last trip, some Overenthusiastic Crocuses in the alpines house:
Ditto, STRIPY CACTUS:
HOWEVER from the most recent trip, last weekend, I took lots of egregiously autumnal photographs. Autumn crocuses growing up through a carpet of sweet chestnut wossnames:
And underneath a different sweet chestnut tree, MUSHROOMS:
Moooooooore mushrooms:
A birch tree made me happy because bark:
And my absolute favourite shot, from the oak walk (where I was very excitable and very pleased by ALL THE OAKS), is light through oak leaves:
