unfortunately that has just confirmed that EVERYTHING IS WRONG and I am seriously considering hacking it all off (for context it is waist-length)

recognising this + the shakes as evidence of Screaming Crazy I have taken some diazepam and am vibrating over internet banking being fucked while waiting for it to kick in

Really glad it is helping. (Also, this reminds me I have to continue doing the "maybe prescribe me diazepam, without explicitly asking for it" dance with my GP tomorrow). Very sorry for both the Screaming Crazy and the Everything Is Wrongness.

Thanks. It is the Extremely Sensible and Competent Bavarian GP who's known me for over a decade, and while we do not click on everything, she is someone I trust to make a note of stuff I say about anxiety/crazy/the kind of trauma insomnia in which you cannot sleep because your whole body hurts and prescribe it after a few more appts. (And I made a point during last appt with her awful colleague to mention insomnia and then interrupt the "oh, we really don't like to prescribe anything for that..." lecture with a sweet smile and "It's fine, I don't want anything for it, I'd just like it on my notes in case it combines with any of the other things"
