dear past me: it is FINE

A minor highlight of yesterday: opening a jar of the spiced medlar jelly I was Convinced was probably still basically soup, only to discover... that actually the set was just about perfect. Possibly even I will take a photo of it.

This discovery is especially welcome in a week I am otherwise spending quite a lot of anxious and second-guessing myself.
