Reading. A very little bit of progress on White Fragility (Robin DiAngelo).

Playing. Creaks, which we finished and enjoyed a great deal! There was less spurious heterosexuality than we were braced for! It's all still very pretty!

We then moved on to Samarost and Samarost 2 (very short; completed last night; would not recommend for people who aren't playing their way through the entire tolerable back catalogue of Amanita Design games) and are now working on Samarost 3 (also not sure would recommend).

Cooking. Of note: (blood) orange, almond & ricotta cake, and, as mentioned in that post, maqluba. First pass acceptable, but would have been better if I'd fried the vegetables over a higher heat and also if I'd incorporated the spiced chickpeas from the get-go instead of only making them as an add-on after the fact; will attempt again and report back.

Eating. On Monday we got takeaway roti to eat in the car before walking over to my neuro appointment, and because I was very shaky afterwards we stopped off at Ruby Violet (I had malted milk & pistachio/cardamom/rosewater), and then we also stopped off at Ottolenghi Islington to pick up more takeaway as an additional belated birthday treat for Adam (and also because I was categorically not going to cook that night).

Exploring. London Zoo, on Monday, which I have thus far utterly failed to actually write up! Highlight: goats, but also Sexy Penguins and the Galapagos tortoises.
