Today I picked my first tub of redcurrants of the year, and indeed the first tubful I've ever had off the bush on my plot, thanks be to the fruit cage.

We watched the bat, in the dusk at ten o'clock, doing some excellent close fly-bys.

The dark will come again and I'll emerge the other side of it. The world keeps turning.
