Reading. More Maggie Stiefvater. Finished the Raven Cycle; unsurprisingly-at-least-to-me I have a loooot of critiques, but nothing that made me angry enough that it was a hate-read or that I was thrown out of caring about the characters, and it was very soothing.

Just started: Testosterone Rex, Cordelia Fine, which I'd been meaning to get to for a while, but I've just about got brain for it and the hold's just come through from the library, so.

Watching. We were all so perplexed by the appearance of Ferdinand (Orphan Black) in last week's Elementary that we had to restart the episode because we'd been so busy going ... FERDINAND??? that we'd completely failed to register anything he was saying.

This week I am... cautious abut how exactly they are going to handle this. I will be sad if I do not feel they stick the landing. (But we do at least have S5 of Orphan Black to return to, at the end.)

I keep contemplating diving into a Good Omens rewatch, having now vacuumed up a whole bunch of the meta.

I showed A 10 Things I Hate About You again last night, because he'd forgotten most of it and I have been thinking about it a lot, so that was pleasant.

Cooking. Adventure of the week: plausible raspberry lemonade.

Exploring. My orchestra had its first ever Annual Dinner (or at least its first Annual Dinner in recent history) tonight, at West Lodge Park, because one of our newish members is... the owner. Who is heavily involved in the ongoing curation of the arboretum. So we had A Tour Of The Arboretum, followed by dinner, and it was lovely.

I learned several thing but I want to write them up at a point when I actually have time to find onward links, so, maybe while I'm procrastinating tomorrow. THEY WERE ALL GOOD TREES, BRONT.

Growing. I tentatively moved one of the two germinated passion fruit to the greenhouse, to see if it would get on any better in higher temperatures and more direct sunlight. I'm kind of expecting it to die, but hey, in the meantime I have an excuse to go to the allotment at least every other day to water it. (Now that I'm not Writing I am going to be making an effort to get myself over there for a little bit most days, because it's good for me. Lots of weeding to be catching up with, but the soft fruit is starting to be ready to harvest; we missed the cherries; and maybe even I can make progress wih the carpet. And, in due course, harvest the fennel seed and process it.)

The transplanted walnut has not yet entirely died.

Observing. There are two grey squirrels, and I'm pretty sure one of them is a baby.

THERE ARE ALSO, IT TRANSPIRES, TWO BAT. I saw both of them at once on Thursday evening! And I still don't quite believe it, but there were definitely Multiple Bat.
