tripped, fell
Nov. 16th, 2024 11:37 pmToday's post brought me a 13l double-ended drybag, because I have been annoyed for some time about the amount of executive function required to shower while In A Field, and I wished to engage in Retail Therapy, and I think this might actually solve some of my problems?
General concept: clean clothes go in one side, towel on top. Trudge to shower block. Dirty clothes/laundry go in other side. SHOWER. Towel!!! Once dry: clean clothes! Damp towel into now-empty side that contained clean clothes, because the laundry super does not want to get unnecessarily damp. OFF TO BED.
We will see how it works in practice? But I wavered for a day or so and then decided fuckit, I Wanted To Buy A Thing and this was both A Thing I Could Buy and plausibly actually useful. I'm slightly *facehands* about the part where it's gonna be about six months before I can actually test it in anger, but hey. And, y'never know, maybe some of you will go "... I did not know I needed this thing in my life but I need this thing"...

Date: 2024-11-17 11:30 am (UTC)... would you also like a rec for a vacuum flask that works sufficiently well that if I make a hot drink in it last thing at night, it's comfortable gulping temperature when I wake up?
