minor surgery (everything went fine, it's honestly very boring, it was sufficiently minor that it was performed at my GP's)
significant progress with book #1, which I am starting to actually enjoy!
dropped Yet More Paperwork off for benefits-related stuff
met up with wyrdatlast briefly to say hi and retrieve laptop charger
curled up in bed with laptop
knocked a bunch of stuff off the to-post list (counselling log, perfume notes)
lunch
looked up how to get to tattoo place + phoned them to check opening times and what they want to know when I go in to consult/book
finalised for realsies and for definite where I want the thing
two rounds of engagement with Amazon customer services
unloaded + reloaded dishwasher
washing up
dinner for two (mottar paneer!)
3 dozen dinosaur chocs
another round of pseudo-smoothie made
curled up on sofa with housemate + catching up on internet + Avengers on in background (FEELS)
refiled the paperwork
got caught up on ebay feedback
recognised when I started picking fights on the Internet and put tumblr away (... having picked the fight but whatever)
kicked my head into slightly better shape
wrote and sent 1.4k words of e-mail about brainstate
