Lungs update
Aug. 18th, 2014 12:40 pmSpirometry looks normal-to-healthy - no response to bronchodilators, normal ventilatory function. X-ray shows that lungs are A Bit Fucked (bronchovascular definition?) but ascribes this to asthma. GP is pretty convinced that this isn't asthma coz it's not chronic reversible etc etc, despite family history, so is trying me on a month's worth of expensive anti-histamines to see what happens. I asked about drug interactions & effects on mood and he checked for me there & then; looks to be fine but I have permission to discontinue at any point I deem appropriate with a request that I e-mail him if I do so. MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR, etc.

Date: 2014-08-18 01:56 pm (UTC)I use a respirator when I mix glazes and such. I went overboard and got the filters that do fumes, too. I smell nothing but sweet air when I wear it. I wonder if such a thing would be practical for you, at least to get past the smokers at the door. Mine is from the US, but I know British have their own styles.
