some good things make a post

1. we had lunch on the patio, today, for the first time this year -- A has been doing sterling work with cleaning & repairing & oiling all the woodwork, and the weather was nice, and I didn't actually lean over and pick a fig for dessert but that was because I didn't right at that precise moment want one, not because I couldn't.
   
2. I continue surprised and delighted by how much more confident and sure of myself I have become over the course of That Degree I Just Finished. It shows up in all sorts of ways, and gosh it is nice.
   
3. earlier this week I discovered, to my consternation, that Green & Black's seem to have discontinued the Burnt Toffee flavour of chocolate bar. Which is not the good news -- that being that A rummaged around the internet a bit and today a box of 15 bars of the stuff arrived in the post for me. (If I am wrong about the first half of this point please do tell me!)
