vital functions

Reading. Some more progress on both The Silmarillion (J. R. R. Tolkien) and Between the World and Me (Ta-Nehisi Coates).

Writing. I have started to get unstuck on the what dodid I even do all day? post series, after a lengthy break! Not many actual words, but a lot of shuffling things around in my head.

Making & mending. Reassembled the fruit cage! I need to finish reattaching its edges to the downpipes but that's a job for Next Week.

Sorted out the Felco Model 7, when the part came in!

Reassembled the auto-opener with new cylinder and foot clamp, so now all four roof vents actually open again!

I think I have decided that I want the Chaenomeles japonica courtesy of my mother to go into one of the Large Pots and be a Patio Plant.

Observing. TWO patio foxes AT ONCE. Bat! ... a New Rescue Snail.
