Because November is hard for lots of us, and in particular is something I find hard (my not-quite-month of mourning begins tomorrow, officially); because it's spring in the southern hemisphere and the days just keep getting shorter in the northern; because I talked to my counsellor yesterday about all of the shapes and forms that value takes.

OK! this girl is a total sweetheart who changed MY life for the better, as well. ::D without her bravery and compassion, i would be v. broken-hearted today (still, lol) and myself & my sister wouldn't be anywhere near as happy as we are, even when stuff gets really really tough. never thought i'd be as glad to make a new friend as i have with her ::)

she is one of the reasons my sister is so happy right now, but even without that, she is a kickass lady who is actually way braver than i think she thinks she is. (woo awkward sentence!) i'm really glad i know her once again, & that i can call her a friend. and without knowing her i wouldn't know someone incredibly awesomely special to me, which would make me a really sad panda. i sound so flippant here, but all of this is so so sincere.
