It's a love meme!

Because November is hard for lots of us, and in particular is something I find hard (my not-quite-month of mourning begins tomorrow, officially); because it's spring in the southern hemisphere and the days just keep getting shorter in the northern; because I talked to my counsellor yesterday about all of the shapes and forms that value takes.

This post will close to new nominations at the end of the month (because November), though I'll keep unscreening comments after that point if any new ones do come in.

Love meme

If you do not know for certain the person's preferred pronouns and they do not list them on their DW profile, please use gender neutral pronouns as a default. You're somebody I haven't known all that long, yet it feels like I've known you for ages. You express your enthusiasms in ways that make me interested in knowing more about the subject, and your frustrations in a way that helps me understand and expands my empathy, if that makes any sense at all. You also share my love for beets (and are committed enough to put them into liquor form, which is an excellent choice) and you're willing to DM with me about dumb literary gossip.

I wish we'd had more time to hang out and chat when we lived in the same city, and a lot of the times (more than when I actually reply) I see your Twitter posts and want to give you a hug.

But also I love your blatant honesty, your hufflepuff + ravenclaw = gryffindor, your overwhelming love explosion, your wordsness, that I look at rock and think of this good person, that I think of your youness whenever i ... I am rereading In Search Of while I work my way through my assessment. It is soooo good. It does so many wonderful things.

I think you're brilliant and wish you all the very best with the things you have to do.

Also, In Search Of has made me think about what I would do if I survived such an apocalypse and I think that I have it worked out. So, many thanks for that.
