kaberett: A series of phrases commonly used in academic papers, accompanied by humourous "translations". (science!)

Note to self

I really need to fix the bit where I am most scientifically productive at 3am with places to be the following day.

ETA on the plus side I've just done a small pile of useful statistics and written some helpful explanatory text -- stuff I'd been stalled on for about six weeks, wow -- so that is nice! Maybe now the rest will go faster, as it's fairly straightforward redrafting rather than new work... [hollow laughter]

It's the places to be the following day that are the problem. :-)

Some of my best writing gets done between 0200 and 0400, and that does have practical downsides in terms of doing things the subsequent day, so you have my sympathies.
