Bat O'clock for me is that time of evening when the sun is down, but the sky is still quite light, so as the bats start to come out they're easily seen in silhouette. But yay for first bat sighting of the year! I've yet to see mine, perhaps I should head out at bat-o-clock tomorrow!
Yes, for us also it is after sunset but before dark! They came to hang out again while I was finishing up my Pilates this evening; conveniently we get an excellent view of them from the sofa :)
