Reading. More Silmarillion; more Mindfulness; some Empire wiki, on the basis that if I'm going to keep doing admin for this game I had might as well get my head around some of its mythos.

Cooking. More paella (broad beans good).

Exploring. The Formby Red Squirrel Walk, sadly unpopulated by red squirrels, plus bits of the asparagus walk; some of the fading Southport seafront (goslings!); and some miscellaneous pottering around and admiring trees.

Growing. Tomatoes still not dead! And now I am actually likely to be staying in one place sufficient to keep half an eye on them! Basil also still not dead though possibly attempting downy mildew, grump.

Thinking Red Squirrels might be a myth - whenever we have been to places where there are supposed to be Red Squirrels (the Isle of Wight, Brownsea Island, Edinburgh) people try to point them out or like say they saw them here yesterday/last year - but we never, ever see them.

The only time we have seen one was in like animal park in Estonia. There was one that had been poorly and was still in an enclosure with like an indoor part. So like humans had been interacting with it a big lot and for all we know they could of painted it?
