Funniest event of the day: slamming myself straight into [mild] physiological shock by being an IDIOT while prepping breakfast.

More specifically, I caused a surface wound to my thumb/nail with a breadknife, and promptly came over (a) cold/clammy (b) hyperventilatey (c) nauseous (d) on the verge of passing out.

No I am so proud: pain that opiate drugs won't touch & has NHS direct telling me to call an ambulance just leaves me ANGRY. Reacting this comparatively badly to flesh wounds probably tells you all you need to know about my reasons for avoiding horror films. ;)

haha, that's exactly why I won't watch horror films. Same deal as you: internal pain = "WALK IT OFF JOSH"

Papercut that bleeds ever so slightly = "OMG I'M DYING SOMEONE HELP"

In all seriousness though, those surface wounds can hurt like hell. I hope it's not too bad. :(

Ouch! hope it mends soon. Injuries like that just get adrenaline going, it's completely different from internal pain.
