I love reading about things you're learning, and how it's going for you (even when it's being challenging.)

The way you work on balance between the (often ridiculous) demands of academia and how academia thinks things should be done and what works for you is really great to see. (Even if one wishes it were a bit less necessary).

You know all sorts of amazing things and aren't afraid to challenge the status quo in a direct but not nasty way. You also fall into my "gets it crips club" and it's fascinating playing "compare and contrast and swear at the twats".
