Love meme

♥ Nominate yourself or someone else, anonymously or logged-in, by putting your/their username in the subject line of a comment to this entry. If you do not know for certain the person's preferred pronouns and they do not list them on their DW profile, please avoid using third-person pronouns or use gender-neutral pronouns. Other people can then reply to that comment with declarations of love, reasons that person is awesome, expressions of admiration, etc! All comments are screened, and I'll unscreen them as they arrive subject to my online status. If your comment doesn't appear right away, please be patient -- I'll do my best to keep my online status updated at the bottom of this post.

♥ If you don't want to be nominated, or don't want comments referring to certain things [body/appearance, wrong pronouns, etc] to appear on your thread, please let me know; I won't unscreen any such comment or nomination, and can message the commenter a request to edit. If I make a mistake in unscreening something, if you want a comment to your thread unscreened or deleted, or if you have any concerns you need to raise -- please tell me, and I'll deal with it as soon as I can. If there are any comments I deem borderline, I will check with the person being referred to before unscreening. I maintain a private list of people who do not want to be nominated.

♥ Share the love: please do send people over here (and to your own thread!) Words-and-deeds it up if you like, but that's not obligatory!

♥ These guidelines are modeled on [personal profile] dingsi's love meme guidelines, with modifications by [personal profile] jjhunter and wording adapted from [personal profile] surpassingly.

I guess it makes sense that you've got impostor syndrome when so much of what you do is made of words and thoughts; you can't open a vault somewhere and see poems and ideas heaped up around you, stacks of conversations and little chests full of conversation. But they did happen, and they matter; from what I've seen of you, you've consistently been a deep thinker, keen observer, and devoted worker of words. That's real work, and it counts, and it makes you a rich asset anywhere you go.

Thank you very much! We both tend toward the warm and fuzzy when it comes to yarn, I believe you said? :)

Awww, thank you very much! :)

Come From Away is coming to Milwaukee next year eeeee! I'm debating getting tickets, but if it makes its way to Madison as well... It'd be worth seeing twice. XD

The ever-intelligent, thoughtful librarian from my friendslist, seeking and fighting for justice one informative post at a time. Aha! :)

It becomes extremely useful when I then have to help someone with their own travails, or when I am a professional or fonctionnaire and I can look at this and go "how could I make this not terrible for the people I know."

This was a wonderful piece of art you made for me and I still use it and treasure it. Thank you.

Thank you for saying so. Write what you know and see, right?

Thank you. I saw [personal profile] jenett elsewhere commenting that knowing you're in Hufflepuff House is enjoying it a lot when people think you're kind. It's nice to get comments that say the caring shows through.

Thank you.

Credit to my sources (as I should) is that often it's someone is saying something that resonates with me and I can springboard off their conception as to whether it's exactly right, or somewhat orthogonal, or pretty directly wrong.

That it then comes out as something interesting is added benefit.

Thanks.

(The icon you've chosen I usually see captioned with "I've got nothing, so here's a picture of a hamster with a pancake on its head" and that caption is making me giggle.)

Oh, thank you. I'm very glad they are thoughtful and helpful. Hufflepuff nature likes both of those, and kind and gracious as well.

I am happy to be part of your community and that you continue to think of me as a person that should be there.

I'm glad you exist, and I have learned a lot from your perspective and memoirs.
