You make the spaces you are in better, with great intention and also by being yourself. You take the time to examine the world around you for things that could be improved, and then you go and do them, often.

(I forget if I said on DW yet? I went to the courthouse and handed in the name change paperwork. I'm not sure I could have done if you hadn't been brave in much this way first.)
