My Finals (in the UK sense of "end-of-year exams in your last year") run 28th May--6th June, followed by a viva on 10th June (my department holds vivas for all third & fourth years, rather than just those on grade boundaries, which I consider very civilised and an all-round marvellous idea), with results out on the afternoon of June 12th.

Expect Variable Weather, and all that.

(They are at least two pretty concerted bursts: written papers 28th--31st, gap, practical papers 5th & 6th, gap... I am pondering going to an Indelicates gig in Milton Keynes on the evening of the 31st, which will be my longest day in exams. >_>)

I guess the thing I just did is similar to a viva, except it's just about my project.

Mine will likely focus mostly on my Master's thesis :-) But yours is rather scarier, from the sounds of it!

The bit where I just got to answer a lot of questions was pretty fun, actually...'cause I was more relaxed and into it by then.
