Aha! Go for it, heh. :) I eventually settled on an RGK for £600. Not sure what model, but it's a titanium rigid back-folder in just my size, so I'm a happy bunny there. ..Or will be when it arrives. XP This chair has gone from "I'll use it for big events and stuff" to "Hurry up and arrive, damn you, I can barely stand for 2 minutes in the kitchen" (5-7ish used to be my norm after being well rested, & brief periods of stool-perching were more realistic a compromise then, but POTS-y-ness + fatigue). Current circumstances, unsurprisingly, accelerating my condition at a rather alarming rate. XP Hopefully it's arriving tomorrow, though.
There's a J3 back that I'm making serious eyes at to go on it, but it doesn't come with any of the bolts or bits to attach the brackets to the back canes, so.. Hum. Also it's not really deep enough in the curve ideally. But it's a J3 with enough room for my head & shoulders, for £150, that I could get right now, & would eb a definite improvement over the comes-with.. :x Tempting, at least if the bolts and fittings and whatever aren't enough to double the price.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAY-J3-Wheelchair-Backrest-Mid-Contour-/172171877892? Any idea exactly what parts I'd be missing to fit those brackets on the back canes? It looks like it could be anything from "A couple of the right sort of bolts" to one of the more extravegant Jay setups. Sunrise are being very vague, because business with customers isn't really the Done Thing, so I'm still left unsure on this.
