I've had the privilege of watching her grow up, from a person who was unbelievably smart and articulate for her age to.. somebody who's just plain unbelievably smart and articulate. I love watching her squee about things; I love squeeing *with* her about the things we have in common. I was astonished to discover (I should have guessed, but I didn't) that she wrote fic; I wasn't at all surprised that it was good.
