Miriam is one of my favourite people. Immensely compassionate, thoughtful (and thought-provoking) and passionate, and a beautiful writer. One of the most clearly *good* people I know. My life is brighter for having her in it. Also she has one of the most delightfully dirty laughs of anybody I have ever met. :-)
