Because they are an excellent person and I am forever in awe of their sensitivity and empathy and kindness and intelligence. They say stuff that makes me think and stuff that makes me want to reach through the wires and give them a hug. They encourage me to move through the world with compassion and thoughtfulness. They remind me to look after myself as well as others. They see the connections between things. Their anger at an unfair world inspires me, and their determination to work on difficult things always impresses me.
