Rachel is a local-to-me friend; she talks about books & feminism & (co-)parenting, along with really stellar posts like Pregnancy and Consent.

She makes me welcome and she makes space for me and she makes me feel listened to, and then she says stuff and I am overwhelmed all over again by how much I have to learn from her, and how impressed I am by her political work. She understands about making space for people with oppressions that differ from hers, & she is kind & -- I am so grateful to know her, and she is *way* up the list of People I Want To Spend More Time With But Am Too Crap To Say This To Except Indirectly. There's a recommendation for you. ;)
