That all sounds excellent, apart from cancelling the pain clinic referral, which doesn't. I had really good results on my hip joint from six ibuprofen a day, and then from HRT, but both of them wore off (I'm just about to start trying both fixes at once...). I wouldn't cancel a pain clinic without at least six months of results from trying a new thing.
