you might also like Heartstopper, an LGBT comic about a British grammar school, which I have just inhaled this evening after one of you all reblogged it on the tumbls xx

(comment I left on the Patreon: 3-2 came across my dash earlier this evening, I have just read EVERYTHING (with laughing-out-loud and misting-up and making-my-partner-read-bits), thank you *so much* for this. -- I am 27, I was in Year 9 when Section 28 was repealed, I was the only out queer in my secondary school of 1000+ students, and I recognise these crushes SO HARD. Thank you so, so much for making this be a thing in the world, and I am really looking forward to reading more. <3)

I have a feeling I'll like it rather more than the other! Thanks for the link.

(I am valiantly restraining myself from telling you about my clocks, re: the other. I am doing so by way of noting that I am doing so, because oh god my brain had a fit when I tried to just cut the damn clocks out of this comment altogether. *facepalm*)

Literally never played I have trouble with, not knowing very much because played a couple of times and then dodged in favour of other activities is more plausible to me? But yeah.

I can't remember the numbers and have to think about the rest for a moment to remember try vs conversion? But yeah, you'd... have to've transferred in after you got to choose Not Rugby for that to be plausible.

This sort of stuff's one reason I'm forgiving of yuri mangaka sticking to modernisations of activity stereotypes that may well still be plot-relevant though: some of them have been out of school longer than they were in, and the tropes are still used as shorthand in an awful lot of other (sub)genres with school settings. And hanging out over a cheap meal or coffee-like-substance only changes so much over the years and tbh is more fun to draw than six pages of IM/text conversation!
